DHARMA SCHOOL

DHARMA CLASSES
Japanese Dharma Class - The Japanese Dharma Class has decided to suspend its Wednesday morning class and held its last session on October 1, 2003. In conjunction with the new service format, members will plan to attend the Japanese sermons which will follow the English Service on designated Sundays.
English Dharma Class meets on designated evenings throughout the year at 7:30pm.

TEMPLE ORGANIZATIONS
Moiliili Hongwanji Buddhist Women's Association
The Moiliili Hongwanji Buddhist Women’s Association (Fujinkai) is an indispensable arm of the temple. Members assist in temple activities and carry out an active program of their own for fellowship, learning and service. Click > [MHBWA] < to visit their page.
Dharma School PTA
The Dharma School PTA plans activities for children from pre-school to high school and assists with the Dharma School and temple activities.
Jr. YBA
The Jr. YBA is for youths ranging in the ages from 8th grade to one year after high school, the Jr. YBA (Young Buddhist Association) offers opportunities to develop social and leadership skills while taking part in fun activities.
Youth Fellowship (Bonbu Club)
Our young adults, the youth fellowship, assist in temple activities.
Karuna Society
The Karuna Society helps with temple repairs and other building needs while enjoying fellowship activities. Members continue to meet on the second Saturday of the month.
FELLOWSHIP AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
The Karaoke Club meets every meets once-a-month on the third Tuesday for karaoke fellowship at a place of their choosing.
The Ukulele Group (Happy Strummers) meets on designated Sundays.
The Softball teams plays against other Hongwanji affiliated teams in the Makule League. Members must be 30 years of age or older.
Tai Chi classes meets Saturdays at 8:30 am. Click > [Tai Chi] < for information.

IN THE COMMUNITY
Project Dana was established in 1989 to assist the frail and elderly. Those who need assistance as well as those who are able to give assistance may contact the Project office at 945-3736. Click > [Project Dana] < to visit their page.
