Hanamatsuri/Buddha Day is just around the corner (April 08)! Celebrate the birth of the Buddha this Sunday, April 7 at Soto Mission of Hawaii (1708 Nuuanu Ave in Honolulu,) beginning at 9:30am, presented by Hawaii Buddhist Council.
The speaker is Rev. Jiko Nakade from Kona Daifukuji Soto Mission. There will be entertainment by Somei Taiko and Honpa Hongwanji Choir. Parking is available at Soto Mission of Hawaii, SEEQS Charter School & Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin.
Note: April 7th, Sunday Service at Mōʻiliʻili Hongwanji has been cancelled.
If you are unable to make it, join us the following Sunday, April 14 at 9:00am for our Hanamatsuri/Buddha Day Service. Our speaker will be our resident minister, Rev. David Fujimoto.
