I would like to invite you and your family to our Sunday Service on February 20, 2022, at 9:00 am


*Due to the COVID-19 concerns, Moiliili Hongwanji will hold Sunday Services via Zoom until the end of February.

  • Meditation and Vandana & Ti-Sarana
  • Sutra Chanting: “Verses Reaffirming the Vows” (*Service Book (PDF) is available online from here.)
  • Gatha: “Beautiful Sunday”

In-Person: Not available at this time.

“The White Way” Radio Broadcast for February 12th, 2022

The speaker for “The White Way” Radio Broadcast of February 12th was Rev. Thomas Okano, former Bishop of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii. This broadcast was sponsored by Renee Kaneshiro & Pamela Uyeda in memory of father, Mr. Walter Nakanishi.

Virtual Silent Auction Fundraising Event: February 16-20

As part of this year’s Online Shinnen Enkai (New Year’s Party), Moiliili Hongwanji is having an online Silent Auction fundraising event.

  • We’re using Google Sheets (spreadsheet) for placing bids. A Google Account is not required. Bidding is anonymous. Full instructions are listed at the above link.
  • Please contact the temple office at 808-949-1659 M-F 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. or email any time to receive your bid number and link to Google Sheets. It’s not too late to register for your bid number and participate.
  • Bidding opened on Wednesday, February 16
  • Bidding will end on Sunday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m.
