I would like to invite you and your family to our Sunday Service on August 21, 2022, at 9:00 am.

*We hold the Sunday Service in a hybrid setting. You can join us either in person or via Zoom.

“The White Way” Radio Broadcast for August 6th, 2022

Our guest speaker for “The White Way” Radio Broadcast of August 6th was Mr. Pieper Toyama, first and former Head of School of Pacific Buddhist Academy, Past President of Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii Board of Directors, and an active member of Jikoen Hongwanji. This broadcast is sponsored by Mrs. Michie Hamao in memory of her husband, Mr. Minoru Hamao, and all deceased family members.

10/7 Pacific Buddhist Academy – “Lighting our Way” banquet

PBA’s Lighting Our Way banquet recognizes inspirational individuals and organizations exemplifying leadership principles and values of the school such as selfless service to others, gratitude, and compassion. Their honorees for 2022 are Dr. Nancy Atmospera-Walch, Dr. David Lassner, Pieper and Lois Toyama, and Pacific American Foundation. Along with featuring the community achievements of these honorees, this year PBA celebrates 20 years since the opening of the school in 2003.

When: Friday, October 7, 2022, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

A silent auction and no-host cocktail starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
